Feron-XT – Product Details
Feron-XT provides ferrous ascorbate 100 mg with folic acid 1.5 mg and zinc sulphate 61.8 mg for extended bioavailability in iron deficiency states. Ferrous ascorbate offers better in vivo absorption compared with conventional ferrous sulphate and fumarate and is effective even in established anaemia. Folic acid supports normal red blood cell formation, lowers pregnancy related complications and helps prevent neural tube defects, while zinc promotes protein synthesis and aids haemoglobin formation. Feron-XT is suited for severe anaemia, general weakness, pre and post partum anaemia, pregnancy and lactation as well as post menopausal women who need reliable iron repletion.
